Imani - Coey's Contest

This is Imani, one of Coey's ( [link] ) characters and my entry to her contest.

Imani killed a demon a long time ago and made him into his coat. Now the coat has the ability to morph. I liked the idea behind the character and couldn't stop thinking about it so I drew him. As you can see, the coat has many red eyes, a wolf/dog head on his side and one big mouth. I took the idea from Hellsing and thought it would be cool to apply it here.

What's on his right hand, that feathery thing, is part of his coat. I decided to keep it there instead of eliminating it and keeping the whole thing black because I thought that's something escential to that character.

I thought I should do this one very sketchy, hence the sketchiness, thinking it would give it a darker mood. The red ink helped in doing the sketchiness... hopefully it worked.

It was hard to draw him since it's not my character and there wasn't much reference to him or his mood. But it still was fun... I wished I would have thought him up... =/
